UPLIFTING VIDEO STIRS EMOTION WITH DOG LOVERS AND PARENTS EVERYWHERE, PROVIDES UNIQUE TAKE ON STEVE AZAR’S “HARD ROAD”
New Single Inspires Powerful YouTube Video
Nashville, Tn (May 19, 2011) — The new single, “Hard Road” from country blues rocker Steve Azar has been connecting with fans since its release to country radio earlier this year. Recently, a YouTube video has surfaced, using “Hard Road” as the soundtrack to an amazing real life story.
Ara Gureghian’s compelling and inspirational video describes the journey of a grief-stricken father who lost his son, Lance, to cancer. After years of battling bereavement and depression, Gureghian found comfort in hitting the road on his motorcycle with his rescue dog, Spirit.
The video captures Gureghian riding down his own “Hard Road” in life with Spirit sitting in the motorcycle’s side-car, not far from his side the entire time. With over 10,000 views in its first week, the video is resonating with fans and animal lovers alike and gaining online momentum. You can find the video at http;//www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SuFO4y8eFI.
Azar has been making an impact on country music for nearly 15 years as one of the genre’s most passionate and soulful voices around. Hailing from the Delta, Azar became a fan favorite shortly after moving to Nashville when he came out of the box with hit singles, “I Don’t Have to Be Me (‘Til Monday)” and “Waitin’ on Joe,” among others. “Hard Road” is the follow-up to last year’s Top 20 hit, “Sunshine,” both of which can be found on his latest album, Slide on Over Here.
