RPM Management Adds April Rider as VP

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 13, 2012) – RPM President Scott Siman announced that April Rider will be brought on as VP of Artist Development. Rider most recently served as GM/VP of Promotion for Stoney Creek Records where she oversaw the career breakthrough of Thompson Square. “I am so excited to be working with April,” said President Scott Siman. “She did an amazing job launching Thompson Square and she has developed into one of the top executives in our industry. She had a lot of companies seeking her out and I’m honored she chose RPM.”

Rider has an extensive career in radio promotion having worked for Skip Stevens Promotions, Decca Records, and Curb Records, where she rose to the level of VP. Siman and Rider worked together over a decade on superstar Tim McGraw when she was with Curb. “I always enjoyed working with Scott on the Tim project and was proud of all we accomplished together,” said Rider. “Scott is known for his vision and his integrity, and I look forward to working with him to break and build artist careers at RPM.”
