SKYVILLE LIVE RECEIVES THREE MIDSOUTH EMMY NOMINATIONS!
EXCITING NEW ONLINE CONCERT SERIES CITED IN THREE KEY CATEGORIES
Nashville, TN (November 20, 2015) — Only 10 months after its groundbreaking debut, the online live music program SKYVILLE LIVE has received multiple nominations for this year’s Midsouth Emmy Awards.
Just two inaugural episodes of the critically acclaimed new series sufficed to earn nominations in three categories: Audio (Skyville Live, Nicholas E. Dugger, Wally Wilson, Mills Logan), Director/Program (Skyville Live, TNDV: Television, Nicholas E. Dugger) and Entertainment (Skyville Live, Wally Wilson, Nicholas E. Dugger).
The Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (www.EmmyNashville.org) revealed its nominees Thursday evening, November 19, at BMI in Nashville, TN. Winners will be announced February 27, 2016, on a live telecast from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
“Nic Dugger (TNDV) and Mills Logan (audio) are not only our good friends, but the keystone in the SVL foundation,” says Wally Wilson, Creator and Executive Producer for Skyville Live. “We pay a great deal of attention to the look of the show, and perhaps even more to the sound. That’s why I am both proud and humbled to be singled out by my peers at the Academy this early in the game. We’ve only just begun, and the bar is high, but we promise we won’t let you down.”
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences on television and promoting creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry in its designated territory. Founded in 1984, the organization’s Nashville/Midsouth chapter encompasses the states of North Carolina (except Asheville) and Tennessee and the television market of Huntsville, AL.
