Sultry new single is available NOW at all major digital retailers!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2019) — Emerging country artist Bobby Watson has released his swampy new single “Let It Go,” available now through all major digital retailers, including Amazon, Apple Music, Google Play, iTunes and Spotify. The new tune is the lead single from his new album scheduled for release later this year.

“Let It Go” showcases Watson’s distinctive voice and his wide array of styles as he delivers a soulful positive message about facing hard times while making a living in this fast-paced world. The haunting melody, coupled with Watson’s smooth, blues-tinged vocals and the song’s universal message make for a winning combination. Watson co-wrote the track with award-winning producer, Jason Kyle Saetveit, who is teaming up again with the singer on his new music.

Watson’s ability to capture intimate, meaningful moments in his songwriting is just one of the many reasons fans are gravitating to his music and live performances. His music is a blend of country, blues and soul, with musical influences ranging from Otis Redding to Alan Jackson.

“I enjoy all music,” says Watson, “but the songs that I resonate with the most are songs that focus on feeling and give me chills. I really need to believe in what the person is singing, so I try to write, look for and record songs that I feel reflect genuine authenticity.”

Music always filled Watson’s household growing up and it was a bit of a family affair. His mom was a singer, and his dad enjoyed playing around on the production side. Throughout his life, Watson was encouraged to perform wherever there was an audience. He bounced around a few different bands, dabbling in everything from country music to reggae. His demos eventually wound up in the right hands of some of music’s top industry executives, and Watson’s music career was on a brand new path.

His debut 4-song EP, I Can’t Quit, was self-released worldwide in 2018 and spawned two hit singles: the title track and “I Heard You’re Lonely,” which was well received on Spotify Playlists and other on-demand streaming services. Like the EP, Watson’s new project will feature many tracks penned by the singer and some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths.

Watson plans to hit the road in support of the new single, with dates expected to be announced soon. For all the latest news and information visit
