Nashville, TN (April 16, 2010) - Recently, Darryl Worley performed and spoke at the Sixth Annual Healthcare Service Awards (April 12) in Hardin County, TN. More than 300 supporters of The Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center attended the awards dinner honoring various members of the community.   

Worley's vision of the new medical facility has sparked the community's efforts to raise money and establish the center to provide both chemotherapy and radiation therapy in Hardin County. Among them was 10-year-old, Sydne Grimes (pictured) who set up a lemonade stand on two occasions to personally raise over $200.00.

The evening was hosted by the Hardin County Community and Healthcare Foundation and Hardin Medical Center, with proceeds going towards the $2 million cost of constructing the Center. 

Groundbreaking for the building was held in March and operations are expected to begin in early 2011.
