NASHVILLE, TN (January 25, 2024) – Acclaimed singer-songwriter and Grammy-nominated artist Rissi Palmer is proud to announce the fourth season of her groundbreaking radio show, Color Me Country Radio with Rissi Palmer, on Apple Music Radio. This milestone is not only a testament to the show's success but also a celebration of diversity and inclusion within the country music genre.
To celebrate the launch of the new season, Palmer will unveil a special live episode introducing the "Color Me Country Class of 2024" on Saturday, January 27, featuring Mon Rovîa, New Dangerfield (comprised of members Jake Blount,, Nelson Williams, Kaïa Kater, Tray Wellington) and Rebecca Porter, each bringing their own unique voices and perspectives to the forefront of country music.
Since its launch in 2020, Color Me Country Radio with Rissi Palmer has put a spotlight on contributions of artists of color who have been underrepresented in the country music landscape. Over the past four years, Palmer has curated an impressive collection of interviews, performances, and playlists that showcase the rich tapestry of voices and stories from an eclectic array of artists, including Darius Rucker, Brittney Spencer, The War and Treaty, Anita Pointer, Johnnyswim, Allison Russell, Valerie June, Yola, Rhiannon Giddens, Louis York, Lizz Wright, Chapel Hart, Miko Marks, and more.
