The "Shady Ladies of Music City" Podcast Announces More Guests for Season 2

Former label executive & artist manager Michael Campbell is featured in latest episode, available NOW!


NASHVILLE, TN (April 22, 2021) — The ‘Shady Ladies of Music City’ are announcing the addition of more guests to their podcast. As the second season continues, episodes will spotlight the lives and careers of some of country music’s top executives and industry titans, including Clint Higham, Bonnie Garner, Michael Campbell, Shane McAnally and the late Connie Bradley. They join previously announced episodes featuring Martina McBride, Lorrie Morgan, Joel Katz, Raul Malo and Tony Conway.

A new episode releases today (4/22) featuring former label executive and artist manager Campbell, who guided the career of multi-platinum hit maker Ricky Van Shelton. Listen to the full episode HERE

On May 13, Bonnie Garner’s 35+year career, which has included time as VP, A&R at Columbia Records and artist manager, will be spotlighted.

Power manager Clint Higham will appear on the show’s May 20th episode, sharing stories from his work with Kenny Chesney, Carly Pearce, Old Dominion and more.

A May 27 episode will feature one of the final interviews with the late Connie Bradley, a beloved music executive who led ASCAP’s Nashville office for more than three decades. The second season of ‘Shady Ladies of Music City’ concludes with a June 3 installment featuring hit songwriter, producer and Monument Records co-president Shane McAnally, known for his work with numerous artists including Kacey Musgraves.
